The view from Morrow Bay

Last night we stopped in the town of Santa Barbara. It was a really chill college town and it had a skatepark which made me so bummed I hadn’t brought my skateboard along with me.

Shell beach. With views like this, we might just never leave this state.

We spent Wednesday night in the campgrounds at morro bay, which was right next to the beach. From there we made our way down the 101 along the California coast. This is our lunch stop at pismo beach.

From color we headed to morro bay, a quaint, little surfer town outside of san Luis obispo. Michael whipped out the surfboard and wetsuit, and we watched him take on the swells for a while. He totally killed the lineup and he was satisfied.

Tuesday night was one of the highlights of the trip. When we arrived at Color earlier in the day, they offered us a stay at their offices for the night. We couldn’t refuse.

We hopped off of the Caltrain at 1:00 AM and headed into their offices. We were the only ones there and it was awesome! A great night.

Keeping the camping spirit of the trip alive, we still set up camp inside their headquarters. Here’s out setup amongst the myriad of Macs.

SHOUTOUT TO BILL AND THE COLOR CREW! Thank you so much for letting us spend the night at your place!

We’re a couple nights late, so here are some posts following our time in downtown San Francisco. From china town we headed to the home of our beloved friend Madeline Streich. This is the beautiful view from her rooftop.

After looking around downtown for a bit, we decided to explore China Town. We ate at a Vietnamese restaurant called Golden Star. Thankfully our liaisons Nam and Alex were able to clarify such things as beef balls and beef eyes. We all enjoyed our meal and shopped at all the random bazaars and gift shops afterwards. There were some interesting selections to say the least. Pics to come
